The procurement journey
From RFQ creation to performance tracking — every step is logged, every identity is protected, and every decision is defensible.

AI-Powered Discovery
When an RFQ is published, TrustBid's Discovery Engine scans a curated supplier database and ranks candidates against your specific requirements. Capability match, certifications, pricing history, ESG performance, and geographic coverage are weighted to your priorities.
- Transparent weighted scoring model
- Hard filters exclude unqualified suppliers before ranking
- Configurable scoring factors per RFQ
Automated Verification
Before invitations are sent, TrustBid verifies each shortlisted supplier through Companies House API checks and Modern Slavery Act compliance validation. Failures are logged with reasons and automatically block invitation.
- Companies House active/dissolved status
- Modern Slavery Act threshold checks
- Automatic failure logging with reasons
Identity Anonymisation
When a supplier submits a bid through a secure token-authenticated link, their identity is architecturally separated from bid content. A unique Reference ID (e.g. TB-7F29) is generated per supplier per RFQ — no persistent pseudonyms across events.
- Separate Identity Vault with isolated access controls
- Unique Reference IDs per RFQ
- Evaluator-facing system has no code path to identity
Blind Evaluation
Evaluators score anonymised bids using structured scorecards. They see Reference IDs, bid content, price, delivery commitment, and ESG responses — never supplier names, logos, or contact details. Scores cannot be edited after submission.
- One-shot scoring prevents revision bias
- Evaluator cannot access Identity Vault
- Structured scorecard ensures consistency
Signal Detection
Rule-based collusion detection runs across all submitted bids, flagging suspicious patterns in timing, price structure, supplier network proximity, and historical award data. Alerts are advisory — never automatic penalties.
- Timing correlation analysis
- Price structure similarity comparison
- Network proximity via Companies House data
Controlled Reveal
All three conditions must be met before any identity is exposed: every bid scored, 24 hours elapsed since the last score, and explicit Procurement Lead initiation. Partial reveal is architecturally impossible.
- Server-side condition checking
- Simultaneous reveal of all bids
- No partial reveal at API layer
Defensible Award
With all identities revealed, the Procurement Lead makes an informed award decision. High-Risk collusion flags require explicit confirmation. The complete audit trail supports any future review or challenge.
- High-Risk flags require confirmation
- Full evaluation history available
- Award exclusion reasoning logged
Performance Monitoring
After award, supplier performance is tracked across delivery timelines, quality metrics, and compliance adherence. Data is captured in the dashboard for ongoing supplier relationship management.
- On-time delivery tracking
- Quality and SLA compliance
- Certification status monitoring
